Starlight and Time: Solving the Puzzle of a Distant Starlight in a Young Universe

ACG February Featured Speaker: Dr. Russell Humphreys

Critics of young earth creation like to use distant starlight as an argument against a young universe. They argue that galaxies are so far away, it would take light from their stars billions of years to get from there to here.

Many big bang supporters consider this to be one of the best arguments against the biblical timescale. But when we examine this argument more carefully, we will see that it does not work. The universe is unfathomably large but that does not mean that the universe must be billions of years old.

7 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2010, Dr. Russell Humphreys will provide a biblically based cosmology to help answer the question, can light travel from distant galaxies to earth in one ordinary day. Learn how practical physics using Einstein's relativity explains how light could be seen on Earth during Creation.

You won’t want to miss this phenomenal presentation by one of the leading creation scientists in the world today!

When: 7PM, Thursday, February 11, 2010

Where: Roswell St. Baptist Church, MARIETTA GA
