What we believe

1. The Bible is the only divinely inspired book; it is historically accurate when understood as in­tended for the original audiences.

2. Nature reveals the handiwork of God. The study of natural phenomena using scientific methods can help us to understand His creation.

3. The basic forms of life, including man, did not evolve, but were created by God as independent functional entities. Subsequent variations of these original forms are bounded.

4. The creation of life, the earth, and the universe occurred during a normal six-day week, with God resting on the seventh day.

5. The Genesis Flood was a historical event and was global in extent and effect.

6. Sin and death came into the world due to Adam’s fall.

7. Salvation comes only through the redemptive work of Christ.
